04The format

What happens in the room.

  1. One idea per talk

Each speaker brings a single idea, prepared with care and kept short enough to hold the whole room.

  2. Conversation, not just applause

TEDx events are designed to spark discussion. The time between talks matters as much as the talks themselves.

  3. Independent and local

Organised by our own community under a free licence from TED. Partners can support the event, but never take the stage.
